All You need is menza ;)

Na prawdę jestem cholernie zazdrosna o to czeskie rozwiązanie i na prawdę uważam, że warto wprowadzić coś podobnego w Polsce. Menza - czyli tania (a nawet bardzo tania) stołówka studencka, ceny podobne są powiedzmy do realiów polskich barów mlecznych (a nawet ciut tańsze). Cena obiadu zaczyna się już od... 16 czk! Tak, jadłam w tej cenie makaron z jakimś sosem - smak? Nie taki znowu zły ;) ! Normalna cena posiłku (mowa oczywiście o 1 daniu) to 30-40 czk. Koszt zupy 6-10 czk. Surówka 4-15 czk. Co ważna, woda w menzach jest darmowa, natomiast za sok/napój zapłacimy od 6 czk w górę.
Myślę, ze ważną informacją jest również to, że w niektórych menzach znajdziecie dania wegetariańskie i dania bezglutenowe.
Co właściwie możecie zjeść w menzie? Zobaczmy ;) Robiłam te zdjęcia specjalnie z myślą o Was ;) Z góry przepraszam za jakość niektórych zdjęć, ale były robione aparatem z mojego telefonu komórkowego.

I'm really jealous about this solution! I really recommend to do the same in Poland. Menza - it means cheap (or even very cheap) students canteen. You can find menzas in (almost) every faculty. The price of a dinner starts from... 16 czk (Yes, I ate a pasta with some souce and I payed only 16 czk - the taste? not so bad ;) ! Normal price of the dinner is 30-40 czk. A soup costs approximately 6-10 czk. Salad 4-15 czk. What is important, water is for free in every menza. Prices of juice or other drinks start from 6 czk.
I think it's also very important that in some menzas You can find vegegetarian and gluten free meals.
What can You eat in menzas? Let's have a look ;) I did photos espeacially for You ;) Sorry for the quality of some of the photos, I took some photos by my mobile camera.

Couscous with something sweet on the top ;) I recommend :)

(only Faculty of Law, only on Monday and Tuesday as far as I remember)

Some salad :) I recommend. A little bit cheaper than normal meal-even less than 30 czk.

Pasta with... something sweet? sugar and sth else. Well, even for me definietly too sweet...

Local speciality - knedliky :) As You can see there's only 5 of them on one plate - but yes it's definitely enough! I recommend

And at the end the best of the best :D  smažený sýr a hranolky :) fried cheese and french fries. Only my friends know how I like it :)! I really recommend it, especially if You really want to put on weight ;)

But I don't recommend You:
- menza next to Vinarska dormitory - but I mean only this one down!!!!!!! the second one which is situated on the ground floor is quite ok
-any kind of fish fillet - it tastes just like a salt
-I know that it's very hard to avoid kmin - yes, it's everywhere, but please, don't try cumin soup (available in menza on Campus Square)

Čokoládovna Minach

Na początek krótka refleksja: z dniem 8.02.2013 mój erasmus dobiegł końca. Jestem w Polsce już prawie tydzień. Ostatnio rzadko pisałam - im bliżej było końca tego niesamowitego okresu w moim życiu tym więcej rzeczy chciałam robić, miałam ciągły niedosyt Brna, ciągle nie mogłam się nim nacieszyć. Mam wrażenie, że mimo 5 miesięcy spędzonych w tym mieście tak na prawdę nie zobaczyłam tam wszystkiego, co mogłabym zobaczyć. Ale czyż nie jest to dobry pretekst by któregoś pięknego dnia po prostu tam wrócić :) ? W każdym razie mam Wam jeszcze tyle rzeczy do opowiedzenia! Tyle, że pewnie będę pisała o tym jeszcze wiele miesięcy po erasmusie ;) Mam nadzieję, że pomoże mi to choć trochę w powrocie do rzeczywistości, co uwierzcie mi nie jest wcale takie proste...

A dziś kolejne interesujące miejsce dla wszystkich miłośników słodkości :) Jedno z moich ulubionych w moim najdroższym Brnie. Čokoládovna Minach znajduję się na ulicy Poštovská 6E, jednej z bocznych uliczek odchodzących od Namesti Svobody. Podają tu prawdziwą pitną czekoladę (pisząc prawdziwą mam na myśli pyszną, gęstą czekoladę, a nie jak w niektórych restauracjach po prostu kakao...). Ceny zaczynają się od ok. 60 czk w górę.

At the begining my short reflexion: 8.02.2013 my erasmus time ended. I'm in Poland. Recently I didn't write posts very often - I felt the end of this amazing time so I tried to spend time the best I could. I still had hunger of Brno, I was so busy tried to explore the city every single moment. Although I spent 5 months in Brno I still think that I haven't seen everything I could. But maybe it's a good reason to come back one day :) ? I still have so many things to write about! I think I'll still write about Brno many motnhs after my adventure was finished ;) I hope it'll help me, even a little bit, with coming back to reality, believe me, it's not so easy...

Today another interesting place for chocolate or candies funs :) It's one of my favourite restaurants in my dearest Brno. Čokoládovna Minach is situated on Poštovská 6E street, one of the small streets surrounding Namesti Svobody. Here they served a real drinking chocolate (real-in my opinion it menas normal, thick, delicious chocolate, not a cocoa like in majority of restaurants...). Pirces start from 60 czk.

Definitely my favourite one - Americana :) hot chocolate with raspberries, ginger and whipped cream.
